Squatter investigation |

Dear Resident, On 13th August, Garden Suburb Policing team, with the assistance of Childs Hill, and Cricklewood police teams, attended an address in Garden Suburb, after receiving information about a person squatting in the basement area of a block of flats. On gaining entry to the basement, Officers found a middle aged male living in squalid conditions. Relevant checks were carried out, and after confirmation that the person was in good health, he was arrested due to being in the country illegally. He has since been taken by immigration officers , and is currently waiting deportation
